Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship is open to all of secondary school age and upwards. We
currently meet twice a week (see below for details) to learn from God’s Word in
a relaxed atmosphere, learning from one another as well as enjoying fellowship
together.
The most important thing we do in the YF is teach from the Bible, for this
alone is ‘the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes’
(Romans 1v16) and this alone shall make us ‘thoroughly equipped for every
good work’ (2 Timothy 3v17).
We believe in encouraging our young people to uncover the truths of God’s
Word by examining the Bible for themselves (Acts 17v11). This will equip them to
mature spiritually, affecting all areas of life.
We believe that God does not see any difference between His children
dependent upon age, and accordingly we try to encourage our young people to be
involved in some ministry in the church of Christ.
We take heart form Paul’s words:
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in
word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity"
1st Timothy 4 verse 12
